Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Staffing Consultant to support recruiting, client coordination, and workforce placement for construction sites. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about connecting people with opportunities.
Location: New Westminster, BC
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for construction and labour roles
Coordinate placements and communicate with job sites and supervisors
Manage incoming calls, scheduling, and daily staffing needs
Maintain and update candidate and client databases
Support workers with onboarding and site readiness
Resolve last-minute staffing challenges and think quickly under pressure
Qualifications & Skills
3+ years of office or staffing experience (construction or temp staffing preferred)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Strong problem-solving ability and sound judgment
Excellent people skills with empathy and professionalism
Adaptable, organized, and able to work well under pressure
Strong memory and ability to manage multiple moving priorities
