Job description
Best Personnel Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced Construction Safety Officers (CSOs) to join our workforce for upcoming client assignments.
We are an employment agency that provides workers to a variety of construction and work sites across the Lower Mainland. Assignments may vary by location, duration, schedule, client needs, and worker availability. Some opportunities may offer full-time hours depending on the assignment.
Location: Lower Mainland
What this role involves
Conducting regular safety inspections and identifying hazards on active job sites
Enforcing site safety procedures and supporting compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
Providing toolbox talks, site safety guidance, and emergency response support
Responding to incidents and administering first aid when required
Investigating accidents and near-misses and reporting findings
Maintaining accurate safety records, inspection logs, and incident reports
Communicating clearly with supervisors, workers, and site personnel
Assisting with general site duties as needed
Requirements
Valid Construction Safety Officer certification
Valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 or Level 3 certification
Minimum 1 year of construction site experience in the Lower Mainland
Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and site safety procedures
Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional
Required gear
Hard hat
Steel-toed work boots
Reflective safety vest

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
