Job description
Best Personnel Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced Construction Hoist and Inside Elevator Operators to join our workforce for upcoming client assignments.
We are an employment agency that provides workers to a variety of construction and work sites across the Lower Mainland. Assignments may vary by location, duration, schedule, client needs, and worker availability. Some opportunities may offer full-time hours depending on the assignment.
What this role involves
Operating construction hoists or inside elevators safely around active work sites
Transporting workers, tools, and materials to designated floors or levels
Communicating clearly with ground crews, supervisors, and site personnel
Performing daily pre-use inspections and reporting hazards or safety concerns
Monitoring load capacities and following site safety procedures
Keeping hoist and elevator access areas clean, clear, and secure
Assisting with general site duties as needed
Requirements
Valid Construction Hoist ticket or Inside Elevator ticket
Minimum 1 year of experience operating construction hoists or inside elevators
Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
Ability to remain alert and focused for long periods
Strong knowledge of site safety procedures and load capacities
Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional
Required gear
Hard hat
Steel-toed work boots
Reflective safety vest
